Majors

The goal of the MSU College of Arts & Letters is to offer you a high-quality liberal arts education for the 21st century. We educate actors, artists, designers, filmmakers, linguists, philosophers, poets, teachers, translators, writers. Our majors help to build, shape, and sustain the arts, culture and the humanities.

Minors

Minoring in an area of study within the College of Arts & Letters sets you apart from other students and professionals. A minor allows you to explore an additional area of interest, improve your resume by taking courses in a field employers are always interested in, and give you an edge when applying to jobs and graduate school.
 

Scholarships

MSU awards a number of scholarships, many of which are made possible by alumni and friends of the university. Scholarship selection criteria vary. Academic performance, standardized test scores, class rank, and a student’s personal statement are often used to determine eligibility.

Financial Aid

The MSU Office of Financial Aid provides several cost calculators to assist students in personalizing costs and financial aid estimates. Students and parents may also want to familiarize themselves with the Office of Financial Aid’s publication, Financing Your Education.
